Café Hopper Bility Catering Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to catering provisions provided by Café Hopper Bility.

  1. General
  • All prices on the catering menu are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are excluding GST
  • All quotes are valid for seven (7) days from the date of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Due to seasonal availability and/or change in the market price, all prices are subject to change without prior notice. Notice will be provided to the customer where practicable.
  • Our catering menu may change depending on seasonal availability

 

  1. Ordering and Payment
  • When placing an order, you must provide accurate information, including your contact details and ordering details. This information will be used to process and fulfill your order.
  • All orders are subject to product availability as well as our acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse, amend or cancel any order at our sole discretion.
  • If any order made by you is not in stock at the time of delivery to you, Café Hopper Bility will contact you to make alternate arrangements or refund you the price of the order that is unavailable.
  • Catering orders must be placed 1 week prior to the collection or delivery date
  • Orders requests must be placed between Monday to Friday, 8am – 3pm. Orders placed outside of the trading hours will not be reviewed and accepted until the following trading hours
  • Catering orders must be placed via calling the Café during the trading hours or via email
  • A quote will be issued within 24 hours from placing an order which need to be accepted by the customer. Once the quote is accepted, a Tax Invoice will be issued for each order and email to the customer
  • All orders require FULL payment via credit card or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) prior to delivery or collection
  • Late requests will be considered where possible but cannot be guaranteed, a 10% late ordering fee will incur. Please call the Café directly for any urgent request.
  1. Changing Order
  • Any changes to the order, including the number of orders, menu items or event date must be communicated to the Cafe at least 48 hours prior to previously agreed date and time
  • Please send your changes in writing via our contact page or call the Café directly during trading hour and quote the quote order number
  • One of our staff will facilitate these changes and will provide confirmation once your order has been successfully modified to your needs
  • We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but please be aware that additional charges may apply for significant changes.
  • Last-minute changes may not be possible due to prior arrangements and preparations.
  1. Payment Terms
  • Full payment is required 5 working days prior to the order.
  • Any changes to the order within 48 hours of the order may incur additional fees.
  • Overdue and outstanding invoices incur 10% late fee.
  1. Cancellation
  • All cancellations must be in writing.
  • Cancellations of orders must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery or collection date. 100% of your payment will be refunded.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery or collection date will incur a fee of 100% of the total invoice. There will be no refund issued.
  • These cancellation charges compensate for loss of assumed and potential income on the specified date, and other costs incurred including but not limited to labour and administration.
  • In extreme or unavoidable circumstances beyond our control, Café Hopper Bility reserves the right to cancel without penalty and will refund all payments made.
  1. Order Collection
  • Orders must be collected from the Café at 6/69 Fullarton Road, Kent Town at the specified date and time.
  • Orders are available for collection Monday – Friday from 10.00am – 3pm. Orders request outside of these times may be available and are subject to availability and incur an out of hours surcharge. No orders will be accepted for collection on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
  • Café Hopper Bility is not liable for any orders not collected on the specified date and time from the Café, 6/69 Fullarton Road, Kent Town
  1. Order Delivery
  • Catering orders are available for delivery Monday – Friday, from 10.00am – 3.30pm. Outside of these hours maybe available and incur an additional out of hours surcharge.
  • There must be a minimum order of $50 per order for any delivery
  • We can deliver your orders within 10 kilometres from our Cafe in Kent Town, South Australia
  • Any delivery will incur a $15 of delivery fee
  • We may be able to deliver outside of the 10 kilometres zone from our Café. Please discuss with us when placing an order.  Additional delivery fee will incur.
  • You must provide specific delivery instructions (eg address and access to building) when placing the order
  • Café Hopper Bility will not be liable for any incorrect delivery instructions
  • Ownership of the orders will transfer to the customer once Café Hopper Bility have delivered the order as per your delivery instructions.
  • The orders will be at your risk from the time of delivery to the Delivery Address or in accordance with your delivery instructions.
  1. Refund
  • All refund requests must be in writing to Café Hopper Bility
  • We will not provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
  • We will refund or exchange if there is a major issue with your orders, for example:
    1. There is a significant difference between what we have supplied to what you have ordered
    2. The order was damaged at the times for the collection time or delivered to you
  • If you are not satisfied with the order on the day of the event, please contact us immediately. We will address and rectify any issues to the best of our ability. Refunds or partial refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the complaint and the extent of the issue. We aim to ensure that every client is fully satisfied with our catering service.
  1. Dietary Needs, Seasonal Availability and menu
  • Café Hopper Bility follows all food safety and hygiene standards as set by Food Standards Australia.
  • Café Hopper Bility’s kitchen and preparation areas are exposed to certain allergens. We understand the serious implications of reactions to allergens, whilst we take all care not to cross contaminate. Cafe Hopper Bility will not be responsible or held liable for any adverse reactions from our food from any of your guests.
  • The catering menu may vary slightly based on seasonal availability of produce. If required, please check with the Café when placing an order
  • Dietary requirements must be submitted when placing the order and different pricing will be adhered to the order due to cost of supplies
  1. Unforeseeable Circumstances
  • Café Hopper Bility is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. These include, but are not limited to, extreme weather, power outages, strikes, government actions, natural disasters, or other events that could not have been reasonably anticipated or prevented
